Mental Health Events

Listings for 2027 across the country are still rolling in. Many event organizers in the mental health space wait until later in the cycle to publish their dates, especially smaller regional CEU workshops and clinical trainings that don't require long lead times for venue booking. What's here now is the early wave -- there will be more. Expect the bulk of new listings to come from professional associations: ACA and AMHCA state chapters for licensed counselors, NASW state chapters for social workers, state psychological associations affiliated with APA, AAMFT divisions for marriage and family therapists, and specialty groups like EMDRIA, ISST-D, and ABCT for clinicians focused on specific modalities. Each of those organizations tends to anchor at least one major event a year. For a sense of scale, 2026 ended up with about 588 published conferences across the country. That mix usually includes a few big-name annual gatherings, a handful of state association conferences, and a long tail of smaller CEU workshops and clinical trainings. April stood out as the peak month, hosting 128. Expect a similar concentration for 2027 if you're budgeting time off. For a bit more granularity: in 2026, April had 128 mental health conferences across the country, and May had 100. That gives you a sense of how the calendar typically clusters.
