Michigan Mental Health Events

Because 2027 is still ahead, our directory of mental health conferences in Michigan is far from complete. Most organizers -- state associations, training institutes, EMDR and CBT certifying bodies, private CEU providers -- announce their dates throughout the calendar year, often only six to nine months out. So this page will keep filling in as the year approaches. Many of the events that fill this page come from the associations therapists already belong to -- the American Counseling Association (ACA), the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA), the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the American Psychological Association (APA), the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), and their Michigan chapters. Their annual conferences and regional CEU events are usually the backbone of any given year's calendar. To give you an idea, we tracked around 16 2026 conferences in Michigan, ranging from multi-day national conferences to single-session CEU workshops. There's no strong reason to expect 2027 to be different. The most popular month was May (6 events), which tracks with the typical spring and fall conference seasons for therapists. Drilling in a little: May (6 events) and March (3 events) were the standout months of 2026 in Michigan. It's a reasonable bet they'll be busy again in 2027.
