It's early days for 2027 in Washington. Conferences for therapists and mental health professionals typically get announced on a rolling basis, with the bulk of the calendar coming together in the months leading up to each event. This page will continue to update as organizers confirm their plans. A good chunk of what gets listed here comes from the associations that license and support mental health professionals: ACA and AMHCA for counselors, NASW for social workers, APA for psychologists, AAMFT for marriage and family therapists, along with the smaller modality-specific groups (EMDRIA, ABCT, ISST-D, and others). Their Washington chapters add another full layer of conferences and CEU workshops on top of that. To give you an idea, we tracked around 12 2026 conferences in Washington, ranging from multi-day national conferences to single-session CEU workshops. There's no strong reason to expect 2027 to be different. March was the busiest month that year, with 3 on the calendar -- worth keeping in mind if you're trying to plan ahead for CEU travel. Drilling in a little: March (3 events) and April (2 events) were the standout months of 2026 in Washington. It's a reasonable bet they'll be busy again in 2027.
