Hawaii Mental Health Events

Because 2027 is still ahead, our directory of mental health conferences in Hawaii is far from complete. Most organizers -- state associations, training institutes, EMDR and CBT certifying bodies, private CEU providers -- announce their dates throughout the calendar year, often only six to nine months out. So this page will keep filling in as the year approaches. A lot of the activity comes from the major professional associations -- the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) for counselors, the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) for clinical social workers, the American Psychological Association (APA) for psychologists, and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) for MFTs -- plus their Hawaii chapters, which run their own annual conferences and CEU programming. Looking back at 2026, we ended up with roughly 9 conferences in Hawaii once the dust settled. The cadence tends to repeat year over year, so 2027 will likely fill in to a comparable size. April was the busiest month that year, with 3 on the calendar -- worth keeping in mind if you're trying to plan ahead for CEU travel.
