Do Not Retain Therapy Session Transcripts: A Plea to Mental Health Tech Companies, Therapists, and Clients
Even if they are "de-identified" and "de-coupled", retaining therapy session transcripts still poses an unnecessary risk to clients and therapists. This is an attempt to urge mental health companies (and their users) to not consent to this.
Go ahead and give Quill a try today -- it's not an AI scribe, in that it does not transcribe therapy sessions. However, Quill may be lumped into the category of "AI Scribe" in that it ultimately comes up with the same output -- therapy notes and other therapy documentation!
