Do Not Retain Therapy Session Transcripts: A Plea to Mental Health Tech Companies, Therapists, and Clients
Even if they are "de-identified" and "de-coupled", retaining therapy session transcripts still poses an unnecessary risk to clients and therapists. This is an attempt to urge mental health companies (and their users) to not consent to this.

The Problem with "Ambient Listening"
"Ambient listening" is a misleading term for recording client sessions, and therapists (and clients!) should think carefully about the privacy and ethical implications. (Quill does not listen to or record sessions at all, unlike other AI note writing tools.)
