Quill is Life Changing!
A therapist sent us a super nice email about how much they love Quill (and how much it has helped them with their notes), so we got their permission to share it!

Reviews for Quill about ADHD
"Recently, ADHD and menopause have teamed up to try and ruin my life. I was feeling burdened by doing sessions, keeping up with notes and admin tasks, and running a private practice in its early stages. I just felt pulled in too many directions and it was beginning to lead to burnout and demand avoidance – letting my notes lapse, putting off admin or other tasks in favor of resting my brain, etc. As a sex therapist, notes feel more complicated for me due to the sensitivity of what my clients bring into sessions and the current political climate. Notes were SO stressful for me, and it was only getting worse each week.
A friend told me about Quill, but I wasn’t on board due to my hesitation around AI being used in the therapy space and concerns related to confidentiality. I read up on Quill and saw that they don’t store any info, and my notes aren’t being used to train any LLMs, so I was open, but not holding my breath on it being anything I’d continue to use. I was SO wrong. Quill quickly became my favorite workflow tool! I was never a “do your notes between sessions” person until Quill.
Quill lets you set up your own guidelines for how your notes are structured, so I set a few and tested Quill with a made-up scenario. I was amazed at how accurate the note was without too much information like most other AI tech in therapy. I’ve since fleshed out my guidelines and have them perfectly tailored to how I want them done. After sessions, I just blather to the recording about what happened and it generates a perfect note that I didn’t have to struggle to write! It takes my rambling thoughts and turns them into a crispy clinical note that hits like a McDonald’s sprite. That’s it. I say what happened and Quill does the rest. Copy/paste into my EHR and voila! Notes. Exactly how I want them. Quill genuinely changed my workflow and gave me so much of my time back. If you’re on the fence, just do it already!"
"I have ADHD, and clinical vocabulary for notes is hard for me. Before Quill my notes would sound rather non-clinical, unorganized, and would take me about half an hour per client, so HOURS per week. Quill has helped me shave that down to MINUTES per client, and the notes (from bumbling, ineloquent dictation) are polished, clear, and professional. Quill has saved me at least 3 hours a week and helped me feel like a much better clinician."
"This is everything in my ADHD mind that I can't get out in an organized way. I have actually been thinking about quitting this profession because of my difficulty with documentation. It just takes me too long and sometimes I get behind. Truly, this is a career saver."
"Quill is amazing. As a therapist with ADHD, I have always struggled with keeping up on my notes. I appreciate this service so much and I feel safer using [Quill] than other AI notes products that require listening to your sessions. For the first time in my life, I'm caught up on my current notes."
"It's so easy and it even interprets my word-vomit as I ADHD my way through my "uh, I mean" and "oh, and wait" and just makes me sound so SMART and it's so SIMPLE."
"I have ADHD, and have wanted something like this because sometimes it’s hard to stay focused long enough to start the note, so being able to talk into the program and have it give me something I can simply enter into the computer is something I’ve definitely been looking for!"
