Frequently Asked Questions
Support & Feedback
We're here to help with technical issues, answer questions, and hear your ideas. Your feedback shapes how Quill evolves to better serve therapists.
Email us with details about what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and any error messages you received. We respond quickly and will help resolve your issue.
Absolutely! We're a small, family-owned company that values your input. Please send us an email and share your ideas. Many of our best features have come from therapist suggestions!
Quill is designed to be intuitive and easy to start using immediately.
If you need help getting started, creating custom templates, or optimizing your workflow, email us and we'll walk you through it. We're happy to help you get the most out of Quill.
We typically respond to support emails within a few hours during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST). For urgent issues, we often respond even faster.
Honestly, even for non-urgent issues, we're typically responding within a few minutes... We're a small team committed to providing excellent, responsive support to every therapist using Quill.
Yes, absolutely! We love to hear your feedback. If Quill has made your work life easier, sharing your experience helps other therapists discover how Quill can help them too. The success of Quill is because of therapists telling other therapists about us... And we do not take that for granted.
Session recording introduces significant risks we're unwilling to take: ethical and privacy concerns, data security and breach risks, changes to the therapeutic relationship, and the need to store sensitive recordings. Our approach -- a brief summary after the session -- keeps you fully present with clients, protects privacy, and still saves significant time on documentation.

We listen to therapist feedback! We prioritize based on user impact, privacy alignment, clinical value, and feasibility.
Being family-owned means we build what's best for therapists, not what maximizes profit.
Email us with ideas -- many of our best features started as suggestions from therapists like you!
