2026 West Virginia Trauma Symposium

The 2026 Vandalia Health CAMC West Virginia Trauma Symposium is a comprehensive event designed for trauma care professionals. Held at the Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, WV, the symposium brings together state and national experts to discuss progressive and challenging issues in trauma care. Attendees can expect a collaborative environment with workshops, keynote sessions, and networking opportunities.

The agenda includes pre-conference ultrasound workshops and a variety of sessions covering topics such as blunt cerebrovascular injury, damage control resuscitation, and the use of tranexamic acid in trauma. The symposium also features committee meetings and the State Trauma Audit Review presentations, providing a platform for learning and professional development.

Pre-Conference Sessions on February 4 include ultrasound workshops for nurses and providers. Day 1 on February 5 features sessions on blunt cerebrovascular injury, damage control resuscitation, and more, with breaks for exhibit visitation. Day 2 on February 6 includes sessions on prehospital blood in trauma and noninvasive ventilation, concluding with a course evaluation.

The conference offers a maximum of 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for physicians, and up to 10 hours of AOA category 1-A credits for osteopathic physicians, nurses, and pharmacists.

A block of rooms is reserved at Stonewall Resort until January 16. The conference rate is $129 per person, per night, excluding resort fees and taxes. Attendees wishing to extend their stay will be charged the regular rate.
