What is HIPPA?

HIPPA is a misspelling of HIPAA. And there's a new website that is both silly and informational that we launched for the benefit of therapists, therapy clients, and anyone who cares about their health information and privacy (and spelling things correctly). Check out WhatIsHIPPA.com.

People misspell HIPAA as HIPPA all the time.

But beyond that, many people misunderstand what HIPAA truly is -- and what it is not. And in this ever-evolving world of tech and AI companies declaring "Have no fear! We are HIPAA compliant!", understanding what HIPAA truly is (and how it's spelled) is more important than ever.

So anyway, there's now a new website out there to help with all of those questions about HIPPA. Oops, we mean HIPAA.

And if you see other folks misspelling (or misunderstanding) HIPAA, feel free to share the link too!
