Hello from the ACA!

We made it to the ACA conference, hauled in all our stuff, and we're so excited to meet folks face-to-face.

We're here! We made it.

The booth is set up, the stuff has been hauled in (and there was a lot of stuff), and we are officially ready to go at the ACA conference.

It's one thing to exchange emails. It's one thing to connect on LinkedIn and trade messages and comments back and forth. Those are great -- we genuinely love hearing from therapists that way. But there's something different about getting to meet people face-to-face. To actually shake hands. To have real conversations without a "send" button.

We're so excited for that. (And this is our very first conference!)

Here's the thing about Quill that we think resonates with therapists -- and it's also why we wanted to be here in person.

You can find real efficiency improvements without sacrificing the things that matter.

You can save time on your notes. You can spend less of your evening doing documentation. You can get help from AI without having to record your sessions, hand over sensitive data, or compromise the trust your clients have placed in you.

Efficiency and ethics aren't opposites. Privacy and productivity aren't at odds. You don't have to pick one.

Here's our main message at our booth:

Therapists can save time on documentation without sacrifices or harm to the client.

A lot of the AI tools out there ask therapists to make tradeoffs they shouldn't have to make. Record your sessions. Let us listen in. Hand us the data and we'll handle the rest. And sure, that might save a few minutes -- but at what cost? To your clients' privacy? To the therapeutic relationship? To your own sense of what's right?

At Quill, we built something different. You provide a brief summary after your session -- in your own words, on your own terms -- and Quill helps turn that into structured documentation. No recording. No "ambient listening". No third party in the room.

The session stays between you and your client. That's not a limitation of our approach... It's the whole point.

So if you're at the American Counseling Association conference, come say hi. We're at booth #224. We'd love to chat.

Here are the hours when the exhibition hall will be open:

  • Thursday: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Both of us (Jen and Jon) will be there!

And if you're not here but still want to connect, send us an email or connect with us on LinkedIn!
