Week One is Done

From dunking AI therapists to launching a private practice (rocket), our "Advent Calendar for Therapists" is off to a strong start!

What a wonderful week, hearing from so many therapists that have been enjoying the activities and games each day of our new Advent Calendar for Therapists!

Here's a quick recap:

On day one, we started with AI Therapist Dunk Tank. It felt like the right kind of kickoff for the whole calendar. A little absurd, but very topical, and honestly, pretty satisfying. Throw a ball, hit the target, and the taunting AI "therapist" drops into the tank of water. Let's stop trying to make AI "therapy" a thing!

Day two brought Ugly Cardigan Contest. This one is just pure holiday energy. We wish we could offer the ability to print your horrific cardigan creations, but... perhaps society is better off.

On day three, we shifted into Conversation Tennis. This one plays with the back and forth rhythm that therapists know better than almost anyone. It is simple and a little hypnotic and kind of funny in how quickly you fall into the pattern... And how quickly a conversation can get out of control!

Day four was Private Practice Launcher. The idea is that you guide a little rocket through the usual set of private practice milestones. Anyone therapist who has built or tried to build a practice will recognize the feeling of dodging obstacles while trying to keep the whole thing airborne.

Day five was Procrastination Pop. It lets you procrastinate on your progress notes (something we at Quill know very well -- and have helped therapists solve!) while clicking on activities that would be far more fun.

On day six, we moved into Therapist Office Snowglobe. It is exactly what it sounds like. A calm little therapy office floating inside a snowglobe. But when you shake the snowglobe... Well, all hell breaks loose. (It's a personal favorite, despite its simplicity!)

And on day seven we ended the week with Guess the Acronym. Therapists swim in acronyms all year so turning them into a small puzzle feels right. Whether. you're an LPC or LPCC or LISW or MSW or another mental health professional (and associated acronym), we think you'll enjoy it!

That's a wrap -- and onward to Week 2!

Thanks for playing and following along on this silly adventure of ours this holiday season!
