Treatment Plan Instructions

Here's how you can generate a treatment plan in just a few steps with Quill.

Create a brand new treatment plan:

Record or type a summary of the treatment plan. You can use the "Guided Questions" above to help walk you through the different pieces of information needed for the treatment plan.
Click "Generate Treatment Plan".
Quill will generate a treatment plan based on the details you've provided. After reviewing, copy-and-paste that treatment plan into the EHR of your choice.

Update an existing treatment plan:

Record or type a summary of the changes you want to make to the existing treatment plan.
Paste the existing treatment plan into the textbox.
Click "Generate Treatment Plan".
Quill will apply the changes you've requested to the existing treatment plan. After reviewing, copy-and-paste this updated treatment plan into the EHR of your choice.

Here's a bit more detail on the different pieces to include in your treatment plan summary:

Diagnosis: Specify the client’s diagnosis (e.g., Social Anxiety Disorder).
Presenting Problem: Briefly describe the primary issue or concern prompting the client to seek therapy (e.g., "The client experiences significant social anxiety, particularly in public spaces or social interactions").
Goals: Define broad, overarching outcomes you'd like the client to achieve (e.g., "Increase comfort and confidence in social settings").
Objectives: Break each goal into specific, measurable steps or milestones (e.g., "Client will engage in daily self-talk exercises in front of a mirror to build confidence").
Interventions: For each objective, describe the strategies or methods you plan to use to support the client in achieving the objective (e.g., "Guide the client in developing positive self-talk scripts and monitor their progress during sessions").

So I have a client and she has generalized anxiety disorder because she has racing thoughts. She has like all of the physical symptoms. It's affecting her relationships and her ability to sleep. So we have a couple of goals. The first one is self-esteem and connection. So how she feels about herself and how she feels about relating to other people. So for that, I think we're going to do some journaling, mantras. I'm also going to work on communication skills. I also want her to explore past relationships and the origin of some of this anxiety. I'm going to use IFS and I'm also going to include in there that I want to obviously build rapport. The second goal is just to lower her physical symptoms of anxiety. So we're going to do lots of coping skills, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, deep breathing. We can do a list of coping skills. We might even include encouraging her to do some physical activities such as yoga or taking walks, connecting to nature. Also for that one, I would also include building rapport and also using IFS technique.
